1) I got to talk to my maman today on the phone. ^ - ^
2) I got to watch some BBT.
3) I had some delicious dal for dinner. Mmmm
4) Yoga was great today - my teacher said I was doing well. ^ - ^
5) I got my new movies in the mail. I love being able to shop from home.

their own happiness. Why not you? Do not let another day go by where
your dedication to other people's opinions is greater than your
dedication to your own emotions! Today's a new day!”

The weekend approacheth
1) I'm so grateful I have a grant for grad school. It was not as much as I was told it would be (about half the amount), but it still means that I don't have to worry about one semester.
2) My students decorated me up with henna. It looks pretty great!
3) I wrote one message on my arm (with henna). I have some old scars from some traumas I went through many years ago. The old scars say "I'm not worth it." I wrote over them in henna, "Ma vie est belle." I did that for two reasons: 1) I am trying to get through another rough patch. 2) I don't want those old traumatic messages to control my current hardships. So I am telling myself and believing that my life is beautiful. I don't know that I can make it such, but I believe in an all-powerful God who can.
4) I have a new friend who is really kind and supportive.
5) One of my grad school professors is radically behind in her grading so she threw out one of our papers (we have one due every week). Wahoo!!! She also cancelled class over Thanksgiving. HUZZAH!!!
happiness quote: “We're all pieces of the same ever-changing puzzle;
some connected for mere seconds, some connected for life,
some connected through knowledge, some through belief,
some connected through wisdom, some through Love, and some connected with no explanation at all. Yet, as spiritual beings having a human experience, we're all here for the sensations this reality or illusion has to offer. The best anyone can hope for is the right to be able to Live, Learn, Love then Leave. After that, reap the benefits of their own chosen existence in the hereafter by virtue of simply believing in what they believe. As for here, it took me a while but this progression helped me with my life: "I like myself. I Love myself. I am myself.” ― Stanley Victor Paskavich

Onward and upward!
1) I got to spend time with my family for my sister's birthday. It felt amazing. I love my family so much!
2) I have a lot of work to do for grad school, but I seem to have gotten into a rhythm now. Every other week I have two papers due and the off weeks I only have one paper due. So far I have been able (if even only by ten pm the night before) to keep up on my homework.
3) I am having a game night next Saturday and it sounds like a lot of people are coming!
4) I was able to pick up my place. There wasn't a TON of stuff around, but enough that I could tell I had had a hectic week. I feel a lot more peace when I am in a clean environment so I am feeling happy now!
5) I haven't had any of my papers graded yet (and I've turned in four!), but I am feeling pretty confident that I will do well because I worked hard on them.
6) I had a really great conversation with one of my professors this week and she gave me some GREAT advice for how to make my class into what I want it to be.
7) I put my first assignment and video lectures up on the class website and feeling awesome and tech savvy!
8) I am currently at home watching football. I'm so grateful it's football season!!!
9) I saw Dre (BFF) tonight at Red Robin. It was awesome to talk to her in person! <3
10) I am going to add an institute class to my schedule. (I'm not doing enough with yoga workouts, gym workouts, and three jobs... HAHAHA!)

Finding the peace
1) I did yoga nidra today and found peace. (The last time I did it I had a major panic attack, so it was nice to find peace below the surface with all the things I have going on.)
2) I had a delicious dinner (chili).
3) I've already started on my homework for next week. ^ - ^
4) I got A LOT done today including sending in my first mortgage payment. Woooo!
5) I'm being blessed with ideas for lessons. I am still working on improving them but at least I have ideas to move forward and save time for my homework.
6) I am not particularly enjoying being an adult (as in it's not fun to pay bills), but I am taking great satisfaction from being able to be self-sufficient. I'd love to have someone in my life who made things easier on me (well, I do have God and I don't want to negate the wonderful things He does for me), but the reality is I'm single. It's actually a blessing to not have to deal with the hassles of dating, right now, because I'm extremely busy!
7) I made a new friend! It's nice to have someone who wants to occasionally spend time with you and who understands life is busy. ^ - ^
