The weekend

Saturday:

I have a funny story. So I was on the phone with a tech who called in on the Spanish line and he gave me emergency contacts with fairly standard names but with funky spellings. As he corrected the spellings for me, he made fun of me, "What? You can't even spell a couple names?" So I countered, 
"Bet you can't spell my name. In fact, did you even listen when I said my name at the beginning of the call?"
"Well, I was on hold and it was on my belt and I tried to hear your name..." 
"Uh huuuh... it's Annik." 
"Crap... Uh.. A?" 
"Yes..." 
"N..." 
"Yes!" 
"E." 
"Wah wah!" 
"I?" 
"It's A N N I K." 
"Well your name is not normal!" 
"Oui! C'est français!" 
"Y hablas español?" 
"Si hablo español de haber vivido en Argentina." 
"Oh ya? ちょっと[sic]日本語を話します。" 
"本当に!?日本ですんでいましたいちねんぐらい。盛岡で。" 
".... I hate you!! I was going to show off my Japanese but nooo! You speak Japanese! Just kidding I love you. You're my favorite data entry person now!" lol good times. He told me his brother speaks Japanese and to speak Japanese to him too. 

Sunday: 
1) We had a nice visit from home teachers.
2) I got to help teach Abbey's primary class.
3) I got a three hour nap.
4) I got a blessing from Jean-Mi and my dad and got to talk to them for a while. 
5) I have an answer for which I've been searching for a long time! Feels good - like I have real hope for the first time in a while!
